Come and experience the magic of traditional music at Scoil Gheimhridh Ghaoth Dobhair from December 27th to 31st. The festival is set in the stunning Gaeltacht region of North-West Donegal and always promises to be a fun-filled five days for all ages, and this year is no exception!
We have an incredible programme of events featuring renowned artists such as Ye Vagabonds, Bláth na hÓige with Síle Denvir, Lillis Ó Laoire, Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh, Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin and many more. In addition to the concerts, there are also session trails, album launches, and workshops in music, song, and dance from some of the best performers, And not forgetting our Annual New Year’s Eve Hooley, with the incredible Bonny Men – happening in Gaoth Dobhair’s new venue, The Social!
This festival is the perfect way to unwind after the holiday season and welcome in the New Year with family and friends. We hope to see you there!
Venues for this year’s festival include Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair, Amharclann Ghaoth Dobhair, The Social, and Teach Hiúdaí Beag.
